NEO24.pl — inside e-commerce
What I worked on
At NEO24.pl, I helped build e-commerce projects and took part in changes to IT systems. I worked on technology supporting real sales.
I’m Adrian. I build products, work with technology and try out ideas. But the urge to create was there long before AI. It’s something inside me that won’t stay quiet.

For many years, I played basketball. It was my goal and a big part of my life. It taught me teamwork, perseverance and the drive to get results.
Then I discovered rap. For years, I recorded as Pepe Lopez: scratches, beats and rhymes. Music left me with one important lesson: form and content have to work together. Good content without the right form may never be heard. Form alone is not enough either.
On 10 May 2004, after secondary school, I left for the UK. I wanted to see the West I knew from television.
It really was different. Especially the wages. My mum, a mathematician, earned around 1,200 złoty at the time. Packing biscuits in a factory, I earned roughly seven times as much.
Yet I came back. The money was great, but I was not developing much and did not feel at home. I wanted more from life.
I went to university to study food and human nutrition. Partly to develop myself, partly to avoid military service. That is where I met my wife. Today we have three children — and yes, we are still together :)
It started with implementing systems: warehouse management, e-commerce, business management, customer relationships and product information. Then call centres and more processes to organise.
I have been doing this for nearly 20 years. I have seen a fair bit along the way.
But there was always something creative alongside work. With Artur Jóskowiak, I founded the comedy group Nic Nie Szkodzi. Then we created KWIK, one of the first comedy improv groups. Later, I joined Narwani z Kontekstu. We entertained audiences and had a brilliant time ourselves.
The stage taught me that you need that certain something. Doing exactly what everyone else does makes it hard to be remembered. Improv taught me to listen, respond to change and build something together without a ready-made script. That sounds like the essence of running a business.
At some point, I put my artistic activities aside and devoted myself entirely to two startups: one consulting business and one product business.
At NEO24.pl, I helped build e-commerce projects and took part in changes to IT systems. I worked on technology supporting real sales.
At TIM, I was the online store manager and later Director of Technology. This part of my work focused on business-to-business commerce and developing digital channels, including a mobile app.
I’m a co-founder of Allwins. Artur Piekarczyk, Artur Milecki and I founded the company in 2018. Consulting became part of my work: choosing technology that fits an organisation’s needs and how it operates.
I’m a co-founder of ONe, a platform for digitising commerce. During its creation, I was responsible for its management and development. By April 2020, the first working version was serving customers. Our earlier experience at NEO24 and TIM was part of the foundation.
From working on individual stores, through technology and consulting, to developing a product for more businesses — that’s the path this part of my work has taken.
I work at ADenergo, an energy tech company within ADEO Group — the group behind Leroy Merlin. We build solutions supporting building energy efficiency and renovation. Real needs, real users and products meant to make things easier for them.
For a while, I missed something I knew from music and improv: having an idea, getting started and seeing where it takes me. Without a business plan for every experiment.
With AI, I have room for that again. I can start things I used to put off because I didn’t know how to do them or they would take too much time. Not every experiment has to become a product. Sometimes learning something or simply enjoying it is enough.
Everything I’ve done before comes in handy. Music left me with a sense of form, the stage taught me to listen, and working on products taught me to check whether something makes sense. AI helps with the execution. I still need to know what I want to make and judge whether it’s there yet.
That’s where Adrian Lab comes in. I share what I build, how I work and what I use. If something helps you — take it, adapt it and see what comes out of it.
And since it all started with basketball and rap, rap has made a comeback too. Pepe Lopez, this time with help from AI.
